He has committed a significant portion of his personal wealth and business profits to causes that address the root causes of inequality and deprivation in Kashmir and across India. The Saahil Peerzada Scholarship Fund provides full academic scholarships to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families across Kashmir — covering tuition, accommodation, books, and a monthly stipend. Since its founding, over 500 students have graduated through the program and gone on to careers in medicine, engineering, law, and the arts.
Through partnerships with leading hospitals and healthcare NGOs, Saahil has funded mobile medical units that bring specialist care to remote Kashmiri villages where the nearest hospital can be days away. He has also established free cardiac and maternal health camps that have served over 15,000 patients across the valley, prioritising those who cannot afford private care.
Kashmir's geography makes it acutely vulnerable to natural disasters — floods, earthquakes, and harsh winters that can cut off entire communities for weeks. Saahil maintains a rapid-response disaster relief fund that has deployed within 48 hours during the 2014 floods and subsequent emergencies, providing food, shelter, medical supplies, and rebuilding support to thousands of affected families.
The Kashmiri woman is resilient, resourceful, and too often overlooked. Through his women empowerment initiative, Saahil funds vocational training centres, micro-credit programs, and entrepreneurship incubators designed specifically for women in semi-urban and rural Kashmir — helping them build independent livelihoods, assert financial autonomy, and become the economic anchors of their communities.
Education is the most durable gift a society can give its children. Saahil understood this truth early, watching talented classmates drop out of school because their families could not afford the fees. He resolved that money would never again be the reason a brilliant Kashmiri mind went unrealised.
The scholarship fund operates on a holistic model — it does not merely pay tuition. Each recipient is assigned a personal mentor from Saahil's business network, receives career counselling and internship placement support, and becomes a lifelong member of an alumni community that spans every field of professional endeavour.
Applications open annually and are assessed on academic merit, financial need, and a personal essay on the applicant's vision for Kashmir. The selection committee includes educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders drawn from across the region.
